D1 LE - On The Fence About Things (Expecting)

"Hey I'm not the one who likes to sit in uncomfortable places." He said defensively, though a playful smirk danced across his lips for a moment.


"You don't have to call me Mr. soldier though, You can call me Thomas, or Thom. Maybe even Cesar if you're feeling spicy." He shook his head and reached into his pocket for a coin, which he sent dancing across the knuckles of his left hand as he though. "As to who to ask, Maybe that other lance leader? Or the boss. Just be frank with em. 'I don't know shit all about leader ship, can you show me the ropes?' Is the best advice I have. Not that you really need to be that frank about it."

"Sitting in uncomfortable places is how you know you are alive...and poor."
Maja's eyes follow the coin for a moment before she turns her attention away. She had to remind herself that she didn't have to worry about living coin to coin anymore.
"Ah, I think you are on top of something. Herr Bruun is the other lance leader, he is old and seems wise, I shall ask him for the big answers. It is good advice Thomas Cesar. I am Maja."
Crinkling her nose and brow slightly
"Spicy is hot? Must I be hot to call you by 'Cesar'?"

"Is that how that works?" He looked the young woman over for a moment. "It does look like you've missed a few meals."

The last of her comments got a laugh out of the young soldier and he shook his head. "Nah, you don't have to be spilling out of your shirt to call me Cesar. It's more like..."

He thought for a a few moments before continuing. "You don't want to do be Plain Jane, and call me like they did in basic or back in school. You choose to be interesting instead. If that makes any sense at all."

"Is that how that works?" He looked the young woman over for a moment. "It does look like you've missed a few meals."

The last of her comments got a laugh out of the young soldier and he shook his head. "Nah, you don't have to be spilling out of your shirt to call me Cesar. It's more like..."

He thought for a a few moments before continuing. "You don't want to do be Plain Jane, and call me like they did in basic or back in school. You choose to be interesting instead. If that makes any sense at all."

Thomas gets a long look as Maja pieces it all together.
"I think I am understanding. I did miss many meals when I was young, life was not easy. But I still do not want to be like Jane the boring, or the women who falls out from her shirt. So maybe I will call you 'Cesar' to be exciting?"
She shrugs

"It is good to be exciting, you are more alive then. I do not have an exciting name, or a tail, or anything else very interesting. Maybe I will find something on the planet? Or maybe I will not, if I am fed and happy then I can live without the excitement."

"That's probably a good thing, no offense but you'd need a very small shirt and a push up bra to attempt to spill out of anything, and well, Jane's aren't too fun at all." It was known after all, it's why they were plain.

"Suppose I'll call you Maja though, at least until I can think of something a bit more interesting." He replied with a nod. "I'll wish you luck in getting to happy too. Thats likely harder to find then food or a piece of tail." Apparently he misunderstood part of her statement.

"That's probably a good thing, no offense but you'd need a very small shirt and a push up bra to attempt to spill out of anything, and well, Jane's aren't too fun at all." It was known after all, it's why they were plain.

"How is one not to take offence? You have said my tuttar are small, this is offensive most everywhere I think."
Again he got a finger wag

"Food is not hard to find here, nor tail. There was a short woman with large tuttar going around, she has plenty of tail, although I am thinking it is a sore issue for her, maybe because of the size? Nevertheless I am sure if I asked nicely and worked out why she had no liking for me I could get a tail from her."

"Hey, I'd counter with what's bad about having small tata's!?" He replied his expression amused, apparently not minding the wagging finger.

The last got a blink from him. "I'm not sure we're having the same meaning of tail." He offered with a reply. "You're saying someone here that doesn't like you has an actual tail? Like a dog's? And she doesn't like you because she has a tail and you don't?" That seemed an odd reason.

Maja scoffs but doesn't disagree further with Thomas, who she now filed under 'known tuttar appreciator'

"Yes, hers is like a big tail of a cat. It wags and people pretend not to see it, but it is there. I tried to say I thought it was not bad, a lucky tail, but that only made her angry with me. I do not understand, is it like a wart? Does one not acknowledge a tail if you see it?"

"Fucked if I know." The soldier offered with a shrug. "Not like I see many tails around." Just one that he could recall.

"Could be she is embarassed by it? Not sure why though." He paused a moment. "Just don't ask her for a piece of it. If you're looking for a piece of tail, you're looking to sleep with someone."

She pats her holster meaningfully
"Maybe it is different if you have an actual tail?"

"It's just a turn of phrase." Cesar replied with a shrug. "A piece of tail is just another way of saying a piece of ass. Which is a crass way of saying you're looking to have sex. You're not actually taking something from them." He explained. Might as well right?

"Could mean something different if you have an actual tail though." He scratched at the stubble on his face. "I've never given that much thought though."
