"Well, we don't have the local currency. I don't suppose you take C-Bills? Or is there another way we can come to a deal?"

She sighed. "Mais..." She smiled. "I can make you some dinner."

[Thomas Moreno]

Thomas probably wouldn't go for dinner himself, but who knew what the old drunk would do.

Maybe he'd go for it? If not they could always try and barter.

"Some dinner... well what about tomorrow?"

The man huffed. "I can't settle for just that."

[Colette Rupelle]

"Of course... you will have ze best... mais.... what would you like for dinner Monsieur?" She smiled. "I don't have much to trade mais... let's us see what I can come up wiz." She checked her bag. There was not much there.

[Comstar]

"Well... you could pay in money, if you've got it. If not... maybe go sell some folks some dinners and come back?"

The man scratched his chin.

"Or a week of dinners. Nice ones all packed up and ready to eat. Something that won't spoil, eh?"

[James Hall]

"Do you need any repairs done? I'm handy with a set of tools."

[Comstar]

"Repairs? I don't own anything worth repairing."

The man coughed.

"Unless you can whip me up a prosthetic that'll get me up and walking and out working again, I doubt there's anything you can do for me, young man."

[Thomas Moreno]

"Mind if I ask what trades for good money around here?" Thomas asked looking at the older man. "I might have some decent bits around for that."

"What else? Pojes."

The man pulled out some of the funny metal discs. They appeared to have once had some sort of image on them, but had worn smooth to simple copper and silver discs.

"It's the only money you can trust."
