You can get pictures but downloading things from a mech is a pain and requires a technician diagnostic computer - so you'd have to force a tech to do it.

"A mech can get a free raise to lower the TN of a task by doubling, or get two by tripling, the amount of time required to complete the task. If another tech works with the first, they must also expend the same amount of time, but may roll and add 1/3rd (rounded down) of their roll to the lead tech's result. Only two techs can work on a specific task at once."
