The terminals boot up slowly, though most glitch out during the load.

One manages to fully boot, and while it doesn't look great, it might be able to answer a couple queries, if they were careful.

"Layout of this place, most recently file accessed, A log of some sort, or list of planetary facilities?" He makes a few suggestions to the Tech as to possible inquiries.

"Hey, guys, this one turned on." She replies, finding some things with nice names right on the desktop. "Can you lend me your noteputer, doc? Need to upload those."

After a short period of processing, the system began to spit out answers. Not necessarily complete ones, but it was something.


Query 1: Current programs active - LongWatch Outreach System, Defense Alert, Apple Music, Human Edge Analytics System ... ... ... ... bad data, query terminated
Query 2: The blueprints are somewhat messy, apparently they've been updated many times. Still, it appears that there are no other underground facilities at this location, from a cursory view
Query 3: Most recent files - System_Purge.exe, Network_Comms.exe, GovDefContList.
Query 4: Logs corrupted, please restart logging system.
Query 5: Sub-tables corrupted. Facility Overview - Human Edge project - Jacob's Redoubt. Human Edge Observatory. Governor's Palace... corrupt tables - mapping info offline.

"Download what you can, any other thoughts on querries? Is anything around here labeled? Do we know if this is the Palace or the Redoubt? I am leaning toward this being the palace personally, which means there is an observatory and a fortress somewhere near the settlement I would wager"

"Looks like they took the time to purge the logs when they left. Not totally wiped clean but clean enough that it isn't as useful as it might have been. Still we know what is worth looking into. There is something around Human Edge but as it is listed as a project it might have never been finished and an observatory that is probably in the old starport?" he frowned, "That is probably just regional facilities that were in a different data bank than the planetary stuff. Like I said slap dash job cleaning this thing..." he hit a few more keys, "Checking out what the Defense Alert System has to say. Might not point us at old stuff but might tell us who's been coming here and maybe what set off that ping that brought us here, yeah?"
