"Well, you would need to keep from coring or exploding mechs then." Andrea smirked and nodded to Fee and Snorri. "I wish we had some sort of deployable satellite or aerial probe...."

[Felicity]

"Having to hold back. What a nuisance, si?" She playfully flexes her arms, but of course she didn't have any muscles to really show off. Her smile hinted that she knew as much.

"That would be useful. But it's... c'est la vie, yea? Can't help what we don't have."

[Thomas Moreno]

"If they are through the gate they know which way we are coming from... In gerneral at least." Thomas offered, he made ntoe of how agreesive the two women were, but didn't commenton it.

"If we had more infantry I'd maybe suggest a scouting party though. We're a bit quiter then mechs, and it could let us know more of what we are up against."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"You are also quite a bit slower," Andrea added, "...and we don't know how deep in they are."

She rubbed her head, "...I wonder if the aerospace fighter could be used for scouting. It would be a big risk though." Her eyes shifted from Thomas to Fee and back.

[Thomas Moreno]

"It's an idea, and if they don't have any air defence it will probably work." If they did though, well that was another story altogether.

"As for being slow, I suppose we are, but we're also a lot less notcieable. Which is a trade off."

[Felicity]

"The aerospace fighter could do a quick swoop. Why would they have set up anti air on a planet like this? Pues, otherwise, maybe a drone?"

She tapped her fingers on her knees before giving her legs a rub. It wasn't warm out anymore.

"What led to both of you signing up with the Major?" She leans forward to get Snorri's attention. "How about you too Snorri?"

Her attention moved to Colette. "And you're with Echo Company, si? How'd that happen Miss Rupelle?"

Colette gave it some thought. "Well seemed that we had the wrong intel. We were expecting ze planet to be barely inhabited." She sighed. "Zere are very mean people here. They probably installed ze anti air and probably some heavy artillery in ze places zey want to keep people our. My new friend in ze city had his leg blown out. I assumed by ze protective measures ze bad people." She tilted her head. "Somezing was very amiss... isn't zat part of ze adventure? "

"Me? I was looking for opportunties, the Major seemed to have one." There was likely more to the story then that, but Thomas didn't sseem too keen on gettign too far into it.

"All I really know is soldiering after all, and after leaving the militia I decided to go the route of a Merc. Figured I could see more of the galaxy that way."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"I graduated from NAIS and was posted to the 17th Avalon Hussars." Andrea sighed, "While my elder siblings received postings in the prestigious 2nd Crucis Lancers RCT and Davion Heavy Guards RCT. And served with distinction in the 4th Succession War."

She smiled wearily, "I got tired of living in their shadow, one day I will return to Federated Suns and with enough fame to earn my own position in the Davion Guards or Crucis Lancers."

"Plan to return to the military then?" Thom asked as he glanced towards Andrea. "Didn't know many people did that after a stint with a mercenary force."
