Event: Preparation in Depth (D4, LM, Briefing Room)

Situation: Yuri Creed has called a company meeting of his soldiers, along with the commanding Lieutenant of the Yokai Matsuri, and Captain Alexei. The meeting is an open planning session in which Yuri hopes to gather the input of those with different modes of combat and tactical backgrounds - the odds are not in their favor, so any advantage is welcome.

This thread is a hybrid event - there will be RP portions, and at set intervals there will be discussions in which certain tactical approaches will be discussed and chosen. These will be posted by GM Comstar as the thread progresses, until the plan is complete.

Results: -- no benefit or cost -- This thread will determine the number, objectives, conditions, and forces deployed for the upcoming battles against the Black Dragon society.

[Karlotta Roth]

She enters the room as she can, still holding a much-needed coffee mug. "I was trained on the military at Draconis March on the Federated Commonwealth. I hope my help will be of use, Commander, Captain." She replies, sitting comfortably in the chair and taking a sip.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea showed up, if nothing else to see some military planning. When queried she replied, "Studied at the New Avalon Institute of Science, College of Military Science, and served with both its 1st Cadet Cadre and the 17th Avalon Hussars. I am aware of the theories at least."

[Snorri Tycho]

Snorri is waiting in the room, drumming his fingers against his arms. He looks around, trying to see who joins in.

He offers a sanguine smile at Carlotta's comment: "I was trained by them. I hope I have passable knowledgeable of their tactics as well"

[Thomas Moreno]

Thomas wasn't really a tactician, it wouldn't hurt to hear what was going on though.

Not that he expected to be of much help in the battle. He had mostly been on escorting duty so far.

[Felicity]

Felicity turned up and grabbed a seat as well. She didn't know the enemy, but she could perhaps contribute in regards to unit tactics and exploiting terrain. Mostly she wanted to hear the discussion.

She analyzed the situation. He smiled at her as an ally... Nurtured no bad feelings. Perhaps an exile? Definitively worth talking to later. She wouldn't like to nurture bad feelings without setting facts straight, so she smiled back.

"Oh, it's great to have someone this knowledgeable as well. Did you know those ronin from before?"

[Theodore Beker]

The duty tech for the morning arrived with a coffee in his hand. "I figure I should be here to give estimates on what the work crews can do," he plopped down in a chair, "And Wurm's back up and online by the way. Figured we could use some good news this morning."

[Gillian Chow]

Gillian Chow was there as well, looking awkwardly about for a moment before spotting the other mechwarriors, who she joined.

Ben showed up to the meeting had he been there the whole time? Surely as he was a member of the team but for some reason it probably felt like he sort of popped up out of no where. Though he was always gifted at blending into the background so little surprise his presence might've gone unnoticed.
