Fur Raising Questions [D4 LE] (Felicity)

[Snorri Tycho]

Even with things as tense, downtime was a necessity. No one could be perfectly efficient every hour without burnout, and after a long day of work, gathering in front of a fire and getting some grub and some quiet was a welcome relief. Snorri is at an ledge, looking out over the distance.

"You want some?" Snorri holds up his flask.

[Felicity]

"Only if there's water in there." Felicity responds after a glance to see what he was holding up. Her attention drifts back to the view. It was getting very dark out, so both of them were only visible because of the light from the dropship and the camp. Felicity wrapped her blanket tighter around herself to keep warm.

"So, what did you want to ask me anyway?"

[Snorri Tycho]

"It's Rasalhague water. "Aquavit", what my parents called it ." Snorri flashes a smile and pockets the flask. " But not the type you are thinking of."

Snorri pats the spot next to him and slides over to make room.

"Look, I've been meaning to ask. I've been wanting to know since I first saw you in the cooling vest and saw your... " At this point Fee wasn't hiding it anymore. " I mean, it's completely cool that you have a tail. I have seen stranger, and hey, it's actually kind of adorable. I just am, well, curious as to how. I would have asked earlier but Maja really made you embarrassed so I wanted to let you decide in private"

[Felicity]

"Oh." She was genuinely surprised. Then confused as his explanation continued. "So, it is alcohol?"

Keeping her body covered in blanket Felicity accepts the offer. She carefully moved closer and got comfortable.

"Eehm, thanks. I'm kind of attached to it." She smiled at him after making such a silly joke. Not for the first time either. "Yea, I didn't like her making such a big fuss like I was some alien creature. So. You like my tail?" She fished it out of the blanket and patted it softly left and right with her hand where it stood. She was smiling still. "What do you want to know?"

[Snorri Tycho]

"Hah!" Snorri can't hold in a quick burst of laughter at the joke. "Oh man, you must have told that one a million times. Hehehe."

He smiles back at his wing. "I guess too many. I mean, were you born that way or was it...I don't know, added? What does it feel like? Is that why you were wearing those skirts?"

[Felicity]

"Yeaaaa." She admits.

Felicity shuffled about on the crate they shared. "It was added. I wasn't born this way." She gave him a very amused look as she giggled. "So many misconceptions. Okay, so, yes I can somewhat feel it. It feels like an arm, sort of. More than a leg anyway. I can move it about if I concentrate." She demonstrated, curling it then straightening it upwards and moving it out to pat Snorri's knee. "I got it during my rebellious phase in my late teens. Spent a few years working in a Canopian pleasure caravan." Felicity made a point of holding up a finger. "As a musician, before you get ideas." Her lips were curled in a slight smirk. "Body modifications aren't that uncommon there. There were many performers with much stranger bits than me. People with robotic legs that could detach so they could slip into a flipper tail to be a mermaid. The centaur mods were even crazier."

She waggled her finger as she blushed slightly. "No, I have no idea just how far the mods went, but some were definitely for that. Most things go in the Magistracy if everyone consents. Anyway~" Felicity extended the word firmly. "I only wore skirts and my hat because some people react negatively or they think I might be an escort girl or something, si? I find it's better to make nice first and save the reveal for later. It cuts down on issues."

[Snorri Tycho]

Snorri reaches out to pet the tail that comes into his lap, curious as to what it feels like.

"Pleasure Circus?" He seems to brighten at the first part only to slightly deflate at the second when she fills in the details. "Well, you play me like a fiddle"

He offers a gentle smile at her blush and then dots continue. "Wait, what about the hat?" It was something he hadn't noticed before.

[Felicity]

It felt exactly like a cat tail. A large one, sure, but a fluffy black tail. Maybe from a maine coon?

"Very good." She smiled some at his quip.

"To hide the ears." She tugged her hood down and wiggled her black fuzzy ears atop her head for him.

[Snorri Tycho]

"My God that is friggen adorable" He reaches up to scratch the ears. "I mean, the tail maybe, but these are just...kawaii is the word. Let me tell you, would have been the most popular girl at the Academy." His gaze goes past her for a moment.

"You know what they call nostalgia? Thinking back fondly at things that you hated at the time."

[Felicity]

"You should ask permission..." She grumbles quietly while otherwise letting him scratch her ears. They were very quite soft, with fuzzy inner tufts. "I'll let you this once since you were okay in that skirmish we had. Just don't push it. I have no idea what kahwyee means." Felicity ducks down a little. "And I wasn't popular at the Academy I went to. Not in a good way."

She glances sidelong at him as he talks about nostalgia. "Please don't say I remind you of your cat Luna."
