[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Unusual but not unheard of," Andrea shrugged, then rubbed her head, "Ah...being a DeTroyes will likely make that easier...."

[Thomas Moreno]

"Some families have ways of opening doors." Thomas replied with a nod. "Don't think ill be returning to the military myself. I'll probably stick it out as a merc for the foreseeable future."

"After that? Who knows."

[Felicity]

"Day to day life doesn't seem too different. More unknowns and adventure as a mercenary it seems, but the travel time is still pretty dull." Those were Felicity's honest thoughts. She was enjoying discovering more about the others.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Not planning to just strike it rich and retire on some estate on some quiet world?" Andrea asked of the infantryman.

"I am not sure all the unknowns are that great. House militaries usually have a good idea of who they will be fighting...."

[Thomas Moreno]

"Eh? Sounds kinda fancy but I suppose it would be possible if I found the right partner." Thomas replied with a shrug. "Not having to work for the rest of my life has a nice ring to it at least."

"True enough." He offered in response to Andrea on the topic Felicity brought up. "But sometimes that means no fighting at all, which makes it hard to make a name for yourself."

[Felicity]

"Yea, but mercenaries don't have to accept assignments to attack a planet and have large conflicts against enemy House forces. If you're in a prestigious House unit and they tell you to drop on a hostile planet then you drop. They don't get any say in it, si?"

Felicity smiled cheerfully at the chatter. "Not having to work sounds nice, but it'd get boring pretty quickly." She gives Thomas a thumbs up. "I had garrison duty for a long time. It's not even that. It's how absolutely tedious it is."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"My brother is Davion Heavy Guards. The FedSuns spear point." Andrea frowned slightly, "Dropping right into the hardest of the Capellan defenses and smashing them to pieces. And for that he won a great many accolades. While I sat around in NAIS."

"And what about Wolf's Dragoons? I heard they were mauled pretty bad by the Dracs during the war."

[Felicity]

"Lots of casualties from all that fighting." It probably kept you alive.

Felicity rubbed her arms. "They must have gotten some good salvage at least. Aren't they huge? They have the numbers for a planetary invasion all by themselves." The Wolf's Dragoons were pretty famous.

[Thomas Moreno]

"I figure the right person part will help a lot with the boring part." Thomas offered with a soft chuckle and a playful wink. Falling silent a moment later as the women discussed war and the like.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"And a planet I hear, the First Prince was pleased enough to grant them a homeworld." Andrea shrugged, "We might get to see it someday, rumor was that they are trying to make it the new gathering place for mercenaries. Like Galatea."

She nodded, "Yes I suppose it was true but few are the battles with no casualties."

"Oh? The right person?"
