Hide and Seek (D4 EA Storage)

[Felicity]

"... And then, after counting to 60, the seeker has to find those hiding. Remember, we can only hide in the storage compartments. Okay?" She flashed a big smile. "Any questions?" Her gaze turned to James for a moment. She wondered if he wanted to seek first.

[James Hall]

Mata does have a question. "What happens someone is found?"

[Felicity]

"They help you look until you find both people hiding. Then we start again outside." Felicity explained slowly and cheerfully. "Got all that Mata?"

[James Hall]

Mata nods. "Who is looking first?"

[Felicity]

"Eehm... how about I search first so you get a chance to look around?" Felicity offered graciously, since James was being quiet.

James was a little awkward. FeSince he wasn't directly addressed, he felt like that he shouldn't speak up. After all, his outburst at the meeting this morning was mortifying. He needed to at least act decent in from of Mata.

As Felicity, started counting, they both head. James found a cozy spot between two crates you that looked like they were right next to each unless you approached a certain way. Mata hid in an open crate, trying to press herself down as far as possible so she couldn't be seen.

She found it a little odd that James wasn't speaking up, but she assumed something was on his mind. "Okay, I'm closing my eyes. Ready you two? Here goes. 1... 2... 3..."

Felicity was... exceptionally good at hide and seek. Usually she hid (and she hid well), but that meant she was good at finding hiding spots. This in turn made her good at finding others. After counting to 60 she began her search.

Ignoring the easy hiding spaces she found James after only a few minutes. Mata swiftly followed.

"Got you both!" She lifts her arms and poses like a bodybuilder might do with a big grin on her face. "Never underestimate a cat girl." Her tail swayed gleefully left and right as she walked over to James to pat his shoulder. "You're searching next."

When he was found, James gave a respectful nod, "I wouldn't expect anything less, Mechwarrior Felicity."

"Oh. Do you have special eyesight like cats?" Mata asked. James.... he actually knew nothing about Canopian cat girls. Was it rude to ask things like that? While he remained silent, his uncomfortableness was pretty clear here.

[Felicity]

Felicity noticed James looking a little uncomfortable, but she chalked it up to him being next. "Don't worry James. If you don't find us in fifteen minutes then we'll reveal ourselves." She tried saying in a positive way to cheer him up.

Then she crouched down to better chat to Mata. "Maybe! Girl's have to keep a few mysteries to themselves. If you can find me when it's your turn then I might tell you. Anyhow! Are you ready~?" She did a quick jazz hands with a big smile. "We're going to beat your dad, si?"

That confused James, but he was relieved that she didn't seem offended.

Mata whispered in the woman's legs. "OK. I'll take go for his legs." Then laughed to herself as if she made a pretty funny joke.

"Alright. Let's go."
