Storage? (Day 4 EM, Storage)

Oil might just be something he could find in storage, so once the trunks were out he moved to see if he could find any. Maybe with it he could get the trunks open.

It was easy enough to find in a cleaning cabinet, if need be. Any workplace with large amounts of machinery would have it.

With oil and a few other odds and ends to help the process, Thomas made his way back to the trunks choosing to work on the heavy metal filled one first. He'd attempt to get the hinges in good order before trying to open it up.

Likely it was a bunch of junk, but you never knew for certain.

The process was slow, but eventually he got the first open. Inside was a heavy foam insert, and inside it, infantry rifles of some sort - they'd need inspection to identify.

Well That was funny looking.

Unfortuently Thomas didn't know much about ancient space guns and was unable to identify it.

Still he'd figure it out and ask about it later.

Even if he figured the best way to find out was just to shoot it.

The next unboxing was the one apparently filled with tiles?

No idea what they could be, but they likely woildn't eat him.

In this case, it was armor of some sort. Infantry combat gear with smoothly angled ceramic plates, stitched in the gray 2-tone of SLDF urban camouflage. There were probably enough suits in the crate to fit out a full squad of ten.

After what he found in the tech's locker, Aly wondered if anything else might be hidden away on the ship. It would be hard to find anything in the storage bays, but that made them a perfect hiding place.

Hearing noise, he headed in that direction.

"Oh, heya." Thomas called as the new arrival appeared in view as he started work on the third crate.

"Come to see what kind of old stuff is hiding in the depths of this ship too?"

"Something like that." he nodded. "Have you found anything interesting?"

"Some sort of gun." He pointed to one of the crates. "As well as some old suits of armor." He motioned to the other. "Not sure if any of it is any good though, its pretty old by the looks of it."
