Colette laughed. "Oh Madame, you may zink zat but too sweet for some, too tiny, or too cheerful." The girl shrugged. "You are a successful woman as well you probably have many suitors."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun listens attentively while trying to not look too interested. In the back of his mind: Too sweet and cheerful? That's like food that's too delicious!

[Lily Fielding]

"Oh I've had a fair few, but they were all drunks who chased every pretty face."

A soft sigh, "My line of work doesn't seem to expose me to the best of me. Far better to be a lovely chef, I think."

[Colette Rupelle]

"Ze kitchen can be lonely too... and some patrons are just as demanding." She smiled. "I don't worry. You shouldn't either the fish will come to ze net eventually."

[Lily Fielding]

"Oh... that's an analogy, I suppose."

With a dry smile, she began filling the tank.

"Now, if you feel confident, I'll leave you to it - I have more stock to pack."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun marvels at his ability to hide in plain sight as he listens.

"Uh, I'll need to see Colette back to the ship in a bit, but I can help more with your stock if you like? Unless you'd like my help, Colette?"

[Colette Rupelle]

Colette pouted at the mention that he has to escort her back to the Calico soon. "I'll make ze mix zen and you can finish after zat, Oui?"

[Lily Fielding]

"Lovely."

Lily smiled broadly. "I'm sure it will come out great."

Walking back to her bar, she resumed putting bottles into crates. "If there's anything left of this place tomorrow, anyway."

[Colette Rupelle]

"My friends are ze best. I know zey will protect ze town. You have been very nice to us." She said with confidence. "In a week, we will see zat zis beer will be ze reminder of a great victory." She nodded sagely.

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun makes a face, but concedes, "I'll give you as much time as we can, but it's getting late."

After the women speak, Bruun raps on the bar twice. "Knock on wood," he says, giving Colette a serious look. By way of explaining the superstition: "It's important to not tempt fate by presuming to say what will happen. Victory, hopefully, knock on wood." He raps the bar twice again, looking skyward as he does.
