"She is good at that," Bruun says with a little smile and a tone of wonder in his voice.

"Drinks, Roth? And... Abs," he says with a sideways glare. "I brought down choices but I'm holding some back for the victory party. Got vodka, got ouzo, I can make three," he stops to think about it, "Yeah, three varieties of PPC: Davion, Marik and Kurita..." He sets out cups he'd hijacked from the mess hall. "It's one and done tonight. No getting trashed the night before another battle."

Marik notes the glare, but doesn't follow up on it. He also has to stop himself from saying something when he offers a 'Marik', but then he remembered that Marik was a big name in space.

Based on that, he remembered Davion, Marik and Kurita - he knew of one of them, but would have to look into the other two.

"Hmm - do you have a preference, Sir?"

He would be willing to accept guidance on the topic.

"Aww, but the battle will be yours! But okay, okay, I shouldn't be trashed as a medic anyway. Give me a Davion one for a taste home." She smiled at the name Marik, having a Marik at their side. "Don't worry, there isn't only one of each. Davion's are with schnapps, Combine's with sake and I don't remember Marik's. You do those by mixing, and we got bottles of stuff."

Bruun looks at Marik when he calls him sir. Not angrily, but like the man must have taken a hit to the head in battle. It's a rather quick way to Bruun's grace. As Karlotta speaks, his eyes turn questioning.

"Er, Davion PPC is with bourbon, actually. I said Davion, right?" Without really thinking about it, he'd poured two of them, and one Marik PPC. He pushes the Davion versions to his colleagues, and raises his cup. "To everyone coming home," he says seriously.

"Ah, so that's what they mean - thank you very much. I'll admit, since it's my first time off planet, a lot of common terms are lost to me."

The sideways glance Bruun give him worries Marik some. Was he doing something wrong?

Marik graciously accepted the drink passed to him, before solemnly following his glass up at Bruun's toast.

"To everyone coming home."

With a mug of hot cocoa, Colette wandered about looking for something. Mon dieu... les spions ont volé mes verres. She noted the motley crew with the missing glasses. She sighed and shook her head. "Good evening mes amies!" She said with a smile.

"To everyone coming home." She replied, taking her shot. "You should be right. I was never a lot into mixing anyway."

Upon hearing Colette, she turns her head back with a smile. "Good evening! Want to join us?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Schnapps is from the Draconis March variation." Andrea chimed in, having seen the gathering after having her mech tended to.

She was still in her mech garb with the overcoat a sword hanging from up. "Olivier is in good shape all things considered. Runs hotter than I am used to though."She rubbed her head. "Ah...but this is not an after action meeting is it."

Snorri arrives looking like something the cat dragged in. Noticably, his Hussar is missing from the bay.

"Yo Bruun, are we finally doing that pilot drinking therapy? Because I could really use some"

After taking a drink, Bruun nods approvingly at the toast. First time off world? Huh...

He smiles in welcome to Colette while eyeing if she really seems ok. Maybe not quite as happy as usual? Grenades will do that...

"Colette, ah, would you like an enhancement to your beverage there?" he asks, gesturing to his small collection of bottles. "If you're facing grenade attacks then I reckon you need the strong stuff," Bruun says, looking equal parts proud of her and terrified that she was anywhere near a grenade.

Bruun smiles at Andrea's arrival, in spite of everything. He notices her rubbing her head again, but doesn't mention it. Hopefully it's just being around me that's bothering her.

"Andrea, slayer of Jenners," he greets her with genuine praise. "Y'all, two kills for this one in one day," he even manages to sound proud. "Well deserving of a good drink. Davion PPC or something different?"

Bruun nods knowingly at Snorri. "Folks who had a bad day get more than one. I reckon your day was plenty bad. You care much what I pour for you?"
