Day 6 (Dec 4 - Dec 7)

As the sun began to set, the Fortunate Ones were called to order.

It was time to fight the enemy once more - and it seemed Yuri was confident the enemy would show up. Taking the lead in his mangled Dragon, he led his force back to the Starport, in order that they might finish what they'd started.

At the same time, Anastasia departed with a small group of volunteers and experts - on a mission of their own.

Lucretzia looked to her own staff and informed them that they should use the opportunity to visit the southern continent of Limbo, to see if anything awaited them there.

Just one day ago, destruction had loomed - and yet now, a day later, after fire and fury, there was only the bloody work of finishing the battle, and then returning to their original task. Yuri didn't say much to his soldiers, only that "Last Stands are a nasty, messy business, and, by their nature, quite final. The trick is, when the metal met the meat, to be the metal. Today, that is our job."

Weather: The cold wave lingers, leaving the ground frozen and still. Now the ground is fully frozen, any remaining mud turned to solid earth once more. The air warms only to 38 Fahrenheit (3.3 C) as the day dawns bright and clear.

Events:
The Sun Never Sets (Day 6, LE)
Close the Door Behind Them (Day 6, LE)
The Boring Part of Science (Day 6, LE)

Special Rules: Threads outside the Calico by members of the Echo Exploration team must include at least 1 member of the Fortunate Ones as security, or the Fortunate Ones will suffer a breach of contract. Traveling to Limbo is time consuming - at least two timeslots must be spent for the trip - so plan accordingly. (So a trip to Limbo would have to last, at minimum, two consecutive time slots, such as LA-EE)

Current rules of engagement: Weapons free when encountering Slate Eater vehicles or personnel - all other locals are fire only when fired upon. Black Dragon units are Kill on Sight.
