[Lily Fielding]

With a chuckle, she began filling glasses, one after the next, each ending with a dark and foamy beer.

"Enjoy - this is the brainchild of the sweet lady in the middle."

She winked at Colette, and passed her one as well.

[Colette Rupelle]

Colette giggled and blushed a bit abashed. "Merci Beaucoup, Mademoiselle Lilly." She raised her mug. "To good friends." She took a sip.

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun echoes the toast, then takes a healthy drink. He grunts approvingly and then throws Colette a big smile. "Good work, Colette," he says, raising his glass in a faux toast.

He gives Lily a sidelong glance, smiling and giving a little raise of the glass to her as well.

[Jan Novak]

"Besides it is my treat!" She moved to the door and pulled Mr. Novak over. "You'll freeze if you stay at ze door. Let me present to you ze Barkeep who helped me with ze beer. She may have what you are looking for."

Novak was a large man, but Colette somehow managed to drag him across the room. He seemed a bit lost in the situation, but in the end frowned and extended his hand to whomever wanted to shake it.

"Jan Novak. If spirits are what's discussed here, I'm more than willing to partake. It's been a long day."

[Snorri Tycho]

Snorri takes a sip, eyeing them both. "Excellent body, and very bubbly. And the beer isn't too bad either."

He snorts. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. It's rather nice. I like my beer dark, and this certainly delivers. I can see where Miss Lily's expertise came in, but this is a bit different, but no less good."

The beer was a frothy dark stout, with coffee-chocolate flavor with undertones of citrus and bit of a pucker with sour notes. The petite chef continued to feel abashed. She just smiled. Probably all the boys want to talk to Miss Lilly rather than her. Lilly took good care of Colette's recipe.

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun glares at Snorri, as he usually does in this sort of situation. No you're not kidding. And you're not wrong.

Trying to set a good example he generally keeps his mouth. He's welcoming to Jan, though, as Colette clearly wants him included.

"Jan, good to meet ya. Bruun," he greets the scientist, giving a firm handshake without thinking about it. "I ain't seen a lot of you science types around, but I know you've been mighty busy. Glad you're part of the team."

Colette took a seat as she finished her mug slowly. She wondered with what she would pair the stout with.

After greeting Jan and pushing him toward Lily for a drink, Bruun slid closer to Colette. She seemed deep in thought so he waited a time, enjoying the beer, before breaking in to say, "You're already planning your next project, aren't you?"
