[D5, EE, mech bays, open] Fix the mechs, fix the pilots

"Not that appeared out of nowhere." Andrea frowns, "I mean appear out of nowhere. Like no one had heard of the Wolf's Dragoons a few decades ago, now they are the most famous mercs in the Inner Sphere. Thing is they just showed up with all this fancy Star League tech, out of nowhere. Way bigger then our outfit."

[Dorgan Bruun]

"So you reckon we just need to be insanely lucky, find more Star League stuff, and we might be the next Wolf's Dragoons? Alright, I got it," he says jokingly, even giving her a wink as he smiles mischievously and takes a drink.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Not all, Yuri would also need to recruit a bunch more people. And build up a whole bunch of rumors about who we are." Andrea chuckled and waved it off, "It would help my goals to come back home as a former member of an elite and renowned merc unit, so we have a mutual goal if for different reasons."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Alright, I'm pretty sure one of us is joking, but maybe it isn't me?

"Mmm, is it a mutual goal though? Somebody turned down my recommendation of one drink. How can you drink to it, to make it our shared goal?" Bruun feigns serious concern, curious how she'll react.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea shrugs, "I will drink when we win, it makes the taste all the sweeter." She smirks again, "And in many ways it would be...Yuri can demand more for the Fortunate One's services as our reputation goes up. More money, more important contracts, and more stable employment."

She crosses her arms and frowns in thought, "Also technically a reputation itself is a weapon. Strike fear into the enemy."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun smiles. "If we get enough reputation to use it as a weapon, I don't think we'll be frowning," he jokes, seeing her look.

"Maybe we'll just wait and see. Don't need to be too big and scary to be in a good place," he says philosophically.

"The thought of Bruun the Terrible, striding on the battlefield to the lamentations of his opponents is kind of a horrifying thought...in the most absurdist of sense." Andrea replies with a dry retort, probably a joke but her expression and tone were serious.

"And yeah...no use worrying about the future beyond tomorrow on the eve before battle. Let's just focus on winning first, Lance Leader."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun doesn't really understand the joke, but laughs at the image of Bruun the Terrible that appears in his head.

"Yes. Bruun the Terrible will wait," he smiles evilly. Then takes a deep sigh. "One day at a time," he says seriously, and drains the remainder of his cup.
