Here we go again (D6 EA Sims)

[Felicity]

"Okay, I'm convinced. Let's do it."

Felicity gave a thumbs up and helped set the pods up for Andrea's planned scenario. When it was ready she gave the other woman a quick wave before heading into her designated pod and getting ready. Neurohelmet on and so forth.

"All systems green."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea likewise got into the pod and began the boot up sequence. She took a deep breath and watched the monitors start up. Thumbing on the comms she chuckled, "Time to think like a fanatic Drac, no?"

The simulated image of the spaceport appeared, as did a large number of enemy mechs. "Well...shall we begin?"

[Felicity]

"So, no tactics and just charge the enemy to secure honour, or some nonsense?"

Felicity surveyed the surroundings. "Probably the nearest and biggest. Maybe the Major? They're here for him."

She looked around for the Grand Dragon. He was directly opposite them.

"Let's make a beeline right for them. Maybe if we kill their commander they'll run away. Does that thinking sound about right? You'd have more experience of Dracs than me, si?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"A bit more thinking then that..." Andrea winces, "...more 'who can we kill or hurt before we go down'." She smiles wearily, "But cutting off the head is always a good strategy. Even with a skilled and trained unit...there will be momentary confusion as the subalterns process the situation and step into leadership. That period would give us more time to do more damage."

Her own Ostsol turns to face the Grand Dragon.

[Felicity]

"Let's smash him up." Felicity agrees.

It was good Yuri wasn't there and watching or he'd quite possibly misunderstand!

Felicity leaped up and forward in the simulated Valkyrie, kicking things off with some long range missiles. It was near maximum range however, making the shot problematic. Nonetheless, five of them tore across the Dragon's left torso. Things seemed to kick off after that. The Grand Dragon fired its own LRMs, but they landed around the lighter mech. It, and other mechs, began to head toward them. They were converging quickly.

Andrea dashed forward in her Ostsol, pouring both LLs into the Grand Dragon.

"I'll try to keep their attention if you can get behind them."

[Felicity]

"Copy that. I'll kick him. You follow him."

Felicity fired her LRMs once more before things became too close. Switching to her single medium laser, she kept moving and jumping. Sustaining only light damage by continuing to duck and dive, she leaped behind the Grand Dragon and a Wyvern. A good kick staggered the heavier machine for a moment.

(Piloting 47 - Errr?)

Andrea's Ostsol closed in firing, she delivered a punch to the Grand Dragon's side doing only a little damage.

"Keep your eyes on me." She muttered to the simulated mech.

Her mech had taken some hits going in, but the heavier frame was weathering it well.

[Felicity]

Fee kept on the bounce, but soon they were facing a half dozen mechs and her medium laser and the odd melee attack weren't doing enough damage. Slowly she was taking hits herself.

"Armour's getting thin. Let's at least take one down."

She jumped back toward the Dragon, kicking and shooting it until her own mech had its leg kicked off by the larger machine.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea fired all her lasers pouring all of the fore ones into the Grand Dragon. She even found a chance to fire the rears into an approaching Firefly.

Her mech screamed in protest as the heat spiked up. She overruled the shutdown and kept fighting.

Seeing the Valkyrie lose its leg, Andrea slams her own leg into it's knee.
