That brought a smirk of suppressed laughter, and she filled a glass, passing it over.

"Start there, rugged, and I'll see what I can find you."

Turning, she checked to ensure drinks were topped off, and then headed toward her cellar.

Jan took it and drank in silence, watching the posterior of the departing bartender. For now, alcohol was a partner enough. No one was speaking science anyway. Unless one was interested in comparative anthropology of mating habits, and even Jan wasn't too much into applying scientific approach to that, or gauche enough to interrupt lovebirds.

"Oh," he says, pleasantly surprised. "Well, uh, yes..." The faux cough again. "Yes I think that's best," he says, quickly setting his empty glass on the bar and stepping toward the door. He doesn't go too fast, seeming to want to keep eyes on Colette to make sure he's not hallucinating at this.

She smile and nodded. She placed her mug on the bar. Colette petite size would make her bit slow but guessing Bruun would allow her to keep with his pace, the small woman walked along side him. Colette took his hand just felt right thing to do.

Bruun had stayed close, but the hand was a delightful shock. He couldn't keep a broad grin off his face, even as they stepped back outside and the cold air assaulted them.
