Know your enemy (D6 LA Briefing)

[Felicity]

"Aren't you senior mech techs paid well enough?" She pursed her lips. "Yea, I can get your drinks now and then. You need to be specific about more."

Felicity points to her noteputer. "Can you check the specs to see if it can run that game of yours?"

[Theodore Beker]

He laughed, "Maybe just come out with me sometime then, hmm?"

"Sure, let me see it."

[Felicity]

"I could do that. The challenge is on you to find somewhere worth going out to."

Felicity picks up her noteputer, flipping it open and starting it up. It is then offered to Theodore. "Here you go."

[Theodore Beker]

"On this rock? Yeah," he tooled through the machine to check the specs, "What do you use this for? There is loads of unoptimized space."

[Felicity]

"Eehm, mech diagnostics, storing music sheets, pictures and videos. Sometimes looking at brochures and eehm, catalogues?" Felicity was only using her noteputer in really basic ways.

[Theodore Beker]

"Oh, I see now. That's a pretty bi-" he paused and slowly tilted his head before looking at her, "Can I get a prize if I guess what sort of 'catalogues' are in the password locked folder? I mean now I'm kind of curious."

[Felicity]

She began to blush faintly. However, she also moved right up to him to poke his side with her elbow. "Did you say you wanted me to elbow you Theodore? Or did I mishear?" She points to the start button where everything was accessible. "Just check the specs and stop snooping around. It's only clothes." It was half true. Well, the 'only' bit was a lie.

Felicity waited while rubbing her elbow gently up and down his side as a warning.

[Theodore Beker]

"Okay, okay!" he closed the window, "You have just enough space, which was why I was looking as it seems curious what was using so many gigs. Your system should work. I was a little concerned the soundcard might be basic but this looks fine."

[Felicity]

"Ah, good." Felicity withdrew the threat of an imminent elbow.

"I should get one of those external storage devices for my photos and videos. I used to take a lot." This was all true.

"Anyway, thanks Theodore. Let me know when you've finished with it... And when you find somewhere nice."

She gestured for him to pass the noteputer back. Clearly she didn't trust him to hold onto it for longer.

[Theodore Beker]

He passed it back with a laugh. "Sure, maybe you'll let me see some of your pictures someday," he grinned, "We'll get some wine and make an evening of it maybe?"
