[LE Day 15] What are Partner's For

[Snorri Tycho]

"We had a lovely conversation." Snorri replies. "But she is only interested in someone who will commit to the long term with. Now, don't get me wrong that's fair, and she's a fit bird that looks good when she lets her hair down. The thing is, the more that I asked myself about what I wanted in the end, the more that began to look like someone else. Someone I honestly like spending time with, someone who I trust to watch my back, someone who trades barbs better than anyone else I know." Snorri moves to lightly rest his forehead on hers. "Also, daaaaaamn girl. So yeah, I'm not talking about pledging eternal fealty, but if I want to actually put in some work, I better think she's worth it."

"But about shop talk" Snorri clearly doesn't seem to mind the change of subject. "I first had my heart set on the Osprey, but Bruun really seems to be making a play for it and he outranks me and because he's Vanguard might need a heavier machine. That Sentinel...it's somehow just as fast as the Thorn, but with better weapons and armor."

[Felicity]

"Right." She stayed still like that, but she did reach up to the top of her hoodie. "Are you doing this because you're tired, because you want to be close, or because you want a better angle down my hoodie?" She comments wryly before shifting the top of her hoodie forward and then back slowly. "Dooduuun. Bad luck. I'm not in my birthday suit under this yet." He would have only got an eyeful of her snug fitting tank top. It was a good tease.

As he gets into the mechs she closes her eyes, picturing each machine. "I don't like the lack of hands on the Osprey, but it's otherwise solid. Still, you're right that the Sentinel is faster. Definitely more like the Thorn. Except it replaces the LRMs with a gauss rifle. Those things can shred anything in a few shots. Either of them would be solid as they both have one of those. The Sentinel lacks a torso twist, but it does have an upgraded communications suite. That's kind of your jam, si?"

She takes hold of his top, giving it a tug as she moved off to the side and over toward the wall by the entryway of the aerospace hangar. "The Griffin has similar specs to what Kiara had, but better. I'm going to be applying for her."

[Snorri Tycho]

"Heh. Would you believe me if I told you that it was intended to be just the second, but that the third is just a happy, happy, happy" Snorri pauses, "happy side effect? It certainly isn't because I'm tired" Sure it wasn't bare skin, but Felicity usually hid her curves when not in the barest necessities for mech combat. A tight sitting tank top is hardly a loss."

"I do like the comms, and I think I can punch at the same range as before as in the Thorn. My shooting, which had been abysmal when I had to run and shoot on the move by myself, got a lot better when I could sit in some cover. Good luck with the Griffin...after losing Kiara, I think they owe you a chance for something special"

[Felicity]

Leading him to the wall, she lets go and carefully sets down her new prized possession. That also meant the wrap was set down. She'd have to dispose of it.

Felicity turned and leaned against the wall, just chatting. She had to tilt her head quite a bit to look up to Snorri however. "Yea, absolutely. It seems to be a mean machine. I'm just a little hesitant because of the 'ECM' system it has. I have no idea what it really does or how to use it. Do you know anything about it?"

[Snorri Tycho]

"No idea." Snorri responds with a shake of the head. "I mean, I think it's supposed to be a stealth-ish system, but I can't say I have used one or know much about it"

[Felicity]

"Same. I heard the Capellans tried to make their own version, the Electronic Warfare... System. I think. However, I don't know the details." She shrugs slightly. "I'll ask the techs about it more tomorrow or something. So, setting that aside, I wanted to ask you something. It's important now." Felicity turned her gaze toward him, serious for a moment, then suddenly she smiled. "Do you like BBQs?"

[Snorri Tycho]

Snorri feels his stomach drop to the floor when she mentions "something serious" but it is instead about BBQ. "That one kind of came out of nowhere. But yeah, though I think the one I'm used to is the one where you throw your meat onto a grate at the table to cook yourself. Hot salty meat is always good in my book, and that's not even with me going for a "that's what she said""

"Why, you have a line on some?"

[Felicity]

"I was thinking more a big grill with steaks and ribs and burgers. Eehm, I'm going to go hunting for the meat. I plan to ask a few others for help in organising a BBQ night with entertainment. Have you got any particular skills you would like to show off in front of a crowd Snorri?"

Fee chuckles as she turned toward him, stepping into his space and pressing her body up against his side. "Aside from your innuendo and your love for hot. Salty. Meat." She stressed each word as she wore a devilish grin. "No chicken breasts for you then. Only sausages, si?"

[Snorri Tycho]

"Well, I think there are a few I want to show off, but I really think you would prefer if I saved those for in private" Snorri jokes, playing in to her flirting, leaning back and moving a hand just to the edge of Felicity's behind. "But, on a more serious note, no, I'm not really much for making shows for people. I will happily join in with schlepping things. Maybe we want to have a shooting competition or something."

He winks. "Got it, I'll be holding our for one set of breasts in particular. The nice thing is that they have some amazing buns to go with it." He grins back devlishly. "Along with apparently being a badass hunter to keep adding badass things to"

[Felicity]

She didn't move or bat an eyelash because of where he chose to put his hand. It very much seemed he had permission. "A shooting competition is a good idea. Maybe with some empty bottles and a prize for the best shooter." That got her thinking.

His continued joking around warranted a chuckle from Felicity. "You're in high spirits." She reached down to give his bottom a squeeze. "I'm not the only one with amazing buns. Who knows how good a hunter I am. You'll have to wait and see."
