Here we go again (D6 EA Sims)

[Felicity]

The armour on the Grand Dragon's leg had given way and wjtn the extra kick the limb crumpled. It fell forward hard, crashing into the ground causing more metal to shear away.

Felicity shot it in the back before a PPC shot blew through her mech's center torso. A great deal of fine then switched to the Ostsol, but the final shot had bought Andrea a moment to act.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea brought her mech's foot down on the Dragon, finishing it off. Her fire then turned to the Firefly. She looked for the other command mech...the wyvern. Her mech was screaming alarms and it felt like an oven in her cockpit.

But it was a last stand...no need to worry about the effects.

Suddenly the simulation ended. Her mech had shutdown as a concentrated hail of fire slammed into it....

Leaning back in her seat she popped the pod open. The in rush of cold air cause her to gasp.

Crawling out of the pod she leaned up against the side and waited.

[Felicity]

"Catch." A bottle of water was gently under arm tossed toward Andrea.

Felicity had soon exited her own mech when it had been taken out. She'd scrambled out to watch the rest from the monitor, as well as to get some water. Thankfully the Valkyrie ran very cool, so she wasn't anywhere near as breathless as Andrea.

"Nice finisher."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea caught the tossed bottle and took a sip before replying, "Thanks...though in hindsight it was not likely to happen. I targeted Bruun's mech assuming he would assume command...but the Dragons have very little way of knowing who is leading our company. Outside of the Major of course." She took another sip. "Still it seemed the best plan...just work my way down the chain of command and hope each one would buy more time."

"The Valkyrie to your liking? Your actions made me think you might have expected a more sturdy mech?"

[Felicity]

"Right. I'm a bit worried about the Major because his mech is going to have to fight without arms. He's going to be more vulnerable than he was in this simulation." Felicity points out, crossing her arms and frowning.

"Ah, Blondie? Yea, she seems to be fine. I just got too fixated on taking out the Dragon before being overwhelmed." Then she thought about it a bit more. "Actually, you're right. I was expecting it to hold up a little longer. I'm still thinking like I would with Kiara." Fee admits sadly, rubbing her upper arms. "Old habits, si?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"The Major at least seems experienced..." Andrea shrugged, "And his mech is tough. I wouldn't discount him."

Andrea walks over and pets Felicity, "That's what the sims are for no? To break a few of those." She winks.

[Felicity]

"I'll be careful." Felicity affirms, forcing a smile onto her lips. She points back toward the pods. "Want to do another? We could swap around or..." She starts listing some possibilities.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea shook her head and pointed to a wall chronometer. "The time is approaching for the real show." She frowns, "We will need to keep an eye out for whatever may happen. And one on the Major, keep him out of trouble."

[Felicity]

"Good point."

Felicity shakes her arms and legs out in an effort to remove the tension.

"Showers then. Hopefully no alarms go off when we're in our birthday suits, si?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"I assume you can use the tail for some modesty if it comes to it..." Andrea smirked, "Besides I have heard some mechwarriors ride in nothing but their helmet, boots, and a cooling vest. Still a shower then time to review the terrain."
