After a few minutes, they found a small pond, and around it, a bunch of very large, very wooly creatures.

Bringing one down would certainly require clean aim and a decent weapon.

Thomas followed along, squatting down and glancing towards the others. "My shot then?" He asked rolling his shoulders to prepare as he lifted his rifle.

[Felicity]

"Let's try to get two. You pick one, I pick one and we each fire at the same time."

She was crouched down with her gun in hand. She looked back to Bruun and Colette. "Unless you want to shoot or you think we need three?" She didn't want to hunt more than they could eat with others, but the meat could always be frozen.

"That's a lot of meet on one." Thomas replied. "Im fine with the consensus though." No reason not to be at least.

[Comstar]

The animals didn't seem scared by the humans.

Only possibly angry.

"Uh, you ain't gonna one-shot one of them big shaggies," Bruun says, looking at the beasts suspiciously. "Uh, Moreno, how about you call your shot, Fee, you fire at it right after him, and Colette and I will be ready in case it charges." He looks around for a good spot to set up their fire post.

[Felicity]

"Really? Eehm okay. Hey Bruun, can I use your rifle? This might be overkill." She offered him her assault rifle. "But it'll be just right if any of them charge us."

[Comstar]

The small clearing was surrounded by brush and small scrubby vegetation.

One of the larger animals, perhaps a bull, was starting to look there way and make aggressive grunting sounds, hoofing at the ground.

"Greaaat," Bruun grumbles. "Right, here Felicity," he says, exchanging weapons while keeping his eyes on the bull. "On the plus side, if we get him, we definitely only need one shaggy worth of meat."

Unimpressed with the available cover, Bruun quickly plotted the escape route if things went south, then took a knee. He took aim with the assault rifle, trying to get used to the balance of the thing before he had to use it effectively.

"Colette, any words of wisdom before Moreno makes a great shot?" Bruun's combat voice is more stern and jaded than Colette has heard, with Fee only knowing it a little.
