Colette looked at the gathered. "A good shot to the head or the jugular that is most probably in the neck." She suggested. "We better hurry unless you want to get trampled by it."

"Okay, taking the shot. You too Thomas."

Felicity readied the borrowed rifle against her shoulder, sighting the gun on the bull's head. "Aiming for the head." The weapon wasn't familiar to her so getting the shot right felt more challenging than she was used to. However, that probably didn't matter. The shot was right on target.

So much so that she even winced.

The two shots took the beast, dropping several hundred pounds of beef to the chilly ground, sending the rest of the herd away at a stampede.

Bruun exhales in relief and stands, ready to move forward with the others. He keeps vigilant, in case the animal has death throes or perhaps tries to rise.

Once close enough to confirm it's fully dead, he puts down Fee's rifle and prepares to help Colette however he can.

"Yea, he's big enough and we won't hurt the herd this way. Good thinking."

She turns to Thomas and lifts up her left hand, which she holds there expectantly. "Nice shot Thomas!" Felicity was glad meat would be on the menu!

Colette moved to the dead body. She said a short prayer. She cleaned the wounds. She thought about what to do prepping in the woods wouldn't be wise. "We should take it to the Calico and prep it zere. I don't want to attract predatory animals."

[Felicity]

"I guess we could use the winch on the APC to try getting it inside, but, este... it might be better to just cut up the best bits here. I've not hunted anything this big before." Felicity comments, looking somewhat clueless as Colette did her inspection. She did offer a rifle swap back with Bruun.

"Whatever everyone thinks is best." Thomas replied as he stowed his rifle. "This is more then enough to feed all of us for a while."

[Felicity]

"I hope it's tasty." Felicity idly comments.
