It Wasn't That Cold....(Day 15 LA, Bunks)

Andrea smiled and continued to pet Felicity.

"Kestrel has quite a few noble families on it...many like my own, owning something to help supplement our income. In our case some industrial areas and a vineyard." She finally relaxed enough to lay down. "The Cunninghams and Allards are the true rulers of the planet."

"In truth...there is not much my family does beyond fight for the Davions. Most of the holdings are left to managers and our staff. We even largely stay out of local politics, especially father...he is rather hopeless outside of the rigid life of the AFFS."

She rolls over to look at Fee, "In our home there is a hall with all the portraits of the family line. All the way to the first, even has his old SLDF uniform carefully preserved. I remember dad taking me there when I was still a child. All those eyes of the dead staring at me, felt like they were all judging my worth. I hated it and avoid the room for years after that...anyway all of them had been warriors in the AFFS, no governors or politicians...just soldiers."

The petting was much appreciated, as Felicity's continued purring and happy noises were testament to. She was also listening with interested as Andrea spoke about her family and Kestrel. She hadn't expected the vineyard, but it was cool to hear about.

Felicity purred louder as Andrea laid down. She shimmied beside her. "That's one way our families are different then. My parents are both social butterflies that are always looking for ways to get involved in politics. My brother takes after them. It's weird, but I was the most outgoing sibling." Felicity chuckled softly. "I was definitely a tom boy."

When Andrea rolled over she turned some to observe her too, smiling cheerfully. "With how you fought a couple of weeks ago, they'd have to judge your worth well now, si? You're even piloting an SLDF mech. Ah! And you've bested a Drac terrorist Colonel without dying to his entire lance. That's a great story. I'm sure there will be many more to come. You're really something Andrea." Felicity reached out to stroke up and down the noblewoman's side. "I was really worried at first that you were just a glory hunter, out here to show off, but you've shown you have the skills to back up your risky behaviour. You also take calculated risks, like the Major, so you have a good instinct. I was wrong about you. I'm sorry for misjudging you. You've also been... really kind to me. Especially after I lost Kiara. I needed that. Thank you." She edged her face forward to peck Andrea on the corner of the lips. "I want us to be super best friends. And I want you to be confident and proud. Keep going like this and there won't be anyone who could deny your worth. Besides, our adventures are going to make for much better stories than any either of our family can tell about themselves, si? We could be famous at this rate... este, the money will be good too." Felicity giggles for a moment. Then she smiles again, full of cheer. "You're more than a soldier to me Andrea. Thank you for looking out for me. I'll definitely return the favour."

"I am not sure you need looking out for," Andrea's face reddened at the sudden interaction, "I mean in terms of rebellious runaways you have twice the experience I have."

At the mention of Kiara she hugged Fee, "I know some think of mechs as just machines...and I guess to those handful still coming out of factories they are." She presses their foreheads together, "But with family ones its...different. Like losing a cherished member of the family. Its one thing that irritates me about the Leftenant, his flippant carelessness with his machines."

She smiles lightly, "Thank you...I feel better about all this. When I return home it will be with pride." Andrea surprised herself by leaning over to kiss Felicity's forehead. "Fame and fortune. The dream of every mechwarrior no?"

Andrea was very diplomatic in her praise, but it was praise and it was eloquently put; Felicity liked that.

She returned the hug, feeling glad at being understood. Probably not even Colette and certainly not any of the techs could quite imagine what it was like. Andrea could. Felicity blushes faintly as Andrea brought their foreheads together. It felt warm and safe. "It is different. I'm worried my family will hate me for it. Maybe even more than they probably do. Kiara was my second elder brother's, but be died so I ended up with her." She trembled slightly. "Now Kiara is gone too."

She didn't know what to say about Bruun and mechs. She murmured thoughtfully as she considered it.

"I'm glad you feel better." Her blush grew at the kiss, but it brought a smile to her lips. "Este, Bruun probably wants some fame and fortune. I think he cares about his mechs in his own way, but it's not the same as when a mech is fully yours, si? You and I can relate more there." Felicity took the opportunity to nuzzle into Andrea's neckline, beginning to plant small kisses along it while she held onto the other mechwarrior. "I'd like some fame and fortune, but I also really like the action. It feels like I'm doing something worthwhile. I... I don't have many skills, but I know I am good in a mech." She paused to peek up at Andrea's face. "Not that I'm without some other skills..."

With slow purpose she slides her hands down Andrea's back to her bottom, stroking it firmly as she moved back in to kiss her neckline further. "I could... show you... lots of things..." She entices intently, her warm and soft body pressed snugly into Andrea's.

Andrea's cheeks flushed, "I...I can guess at some of these talents." She wills herself to relax, gasping a little as the hand travels downward. « Un chaton gourmand ! »

She wiggles a little to look Fee in the eyes, with a nervous chuckle she says, "You are rather warm like I suspected earlier." Andrea smiled lightly, her nervousness was obvious. She reached up to lightly caress Felicity's cheek. "And...very beautiful." Her brown eyes stayed fixed on Fee's own eyes.

[Felicity]

"I'm glad you can. Imagination's important." Felicity replies with glee as she lavishes Andrea's neck with attention. At being called greedy she giggles a little, her tail curling up behind her.

Felicity lets out a positive murmur at being called warm. She could sense how nervous Andrea was. When her cheek was caressed she paused to nuzzle into Andrea's hand. "I do like compliments. Eehm... tu es belle aussi." She turns her face to peck Andrea's hand, only to then turn back to meet her gaze with a smile. "You're incredibly pretty when you blush. I can't resist wanting to make you blush even more." Still stroking the noblewoman's petite derriere, Felicity shuffled up a couple of inches so their faces were aligned. She moves in, closing her eyes as she starts gently kissing Andrea on the lips.

Andrea made a surprised 'MMHMM!' as their lips met, but relaxed into it. Her composure was gone by this point, face flushed. When their lips parted Andrea looked away, plainly embarrassed at the closeness. "You taste sweet as well...." She murmurs. Hesitantly, Andrea wraps her own arms around Fee and squeezes gently pulling the two closer.

[Felicity]

The catgirl did likewise, gently tugging Andrea's lower body up against her own. She planted a few more kisses along the corners of Andrea's lips and cheek. She was purring away now.

"Thank you. You do too. Andrea... relax, okay? Experiment however you like." She suggests, sensing now that the Federated Suns woman didn't have much physical experience. Perhaps not any. "It's wonderful how someone so fierce can so captivating." She wiggled her body into Andrea's with another loud purr.

Andrea was the one who kissed this time. Pressing their lips together while Fee was still purring and enjoying the vibration. She wriggled against the catgirl and then pulled back again, her face a bright, bright red.

"This...was not something I expected...."
