Event: Blind the Eye (D17, EN, OPTIONAL COMBAT)

Situation: The leopard broke ranks with the other dropships, veering away toward Asphodel. Initial fears that they were targeting the city of Human Edge were dispelled as the projected trajectory put the landing point far east of that position. Then it dawned on the company that the destination was clearly the Human Edge Observatory. The Calico, unable to risk flying with enemy aircraft in atmosphere and such weak armor on one of her main engine pylons, cannot carry any mechs to the mainland... only the Leopard that was recently uncovered could do that... and it can only carry four, making any battle to defend the Observatory a 4v4 endeavor, assuming the enemy craft was fully laden.

Lucretzia attempted to go, arguing bitterly with her sister before Anastasia tackled and choked her out, preventing her from putting herself in danger.

Worse, as the enemy unloaded a few hours away from their target and began to make their way into the foothills, and infantry scout got a glance at the flank mech of the formation, before it burnt him away in a flash of azure light. It was a very big mech, painted pure white.
