Colette's touch is exciting, and with the spark in his eyes, she might be expecting something different than his actual reaction.

Bruun steps forward and lifts her into a big hug. It's not a crushing squeeze at all, just solid enough for her to feel safe with her feet off the ground.

He was right, she wasn't expecting a hug nor being lifted. She let out a yip and then giggled. She gave the man a peck on the lips.

When he sets her down, he's grinning ear to ear.

"Seems like you liked me picking you up. Reckon I'll have to remember that," he says with a wink.

[Colette Rupelle]

"Always nice to be picked up." She smiled. "Specially by someone like you, Oso." She returned the wink with another wink.

With an adoring smirk, Bruun steps toward the remaining targets.

"Reckon I better do my part in the show, here, so you know why you're listening to my advice," he says as he's drawing both his pistols and switching the revolver to his right hand. Setting his feet and taking a deep breath, he gets ready to fire.

Colette looked attentively as the man shot his pistols. Everytime the man hit a target she jumped and clapped. A giggle would be heard from the girl every now and then.

Bruun manages to deliver the kind of shooting he'd hoped, with three steady shots from his revolver creeping closer to a bullseye each time. It was a close target, so he wasn't crowing about the performance, but he was certainly smiling as he turned back to Collette.

"I reckon you'd be a mighty big distraction in a real fight," he says with a grin. "But the cheering feels real nice."

"Distraction? For you or ze enemy?" She giggled and winked. "Cheering to give you some morale!" the chef chuckled.

"I ain't letting an enemy anywhere near you," he says assertively. "So I reckon you can keep my morale high all the time," he says, using an old soldier's joke.

She knocked on the table. "Knock on wood." She giggled giving the man a hug.
