Calm Before the Storm (Day 16 EE, diner, open)

[Felicity]

"I think it's nearly at capacity for armour. Eehm, a medium laser would give it more endurance in the field. The two six packs only have a ton of ammo each. I'd rather they were SRM4s and I had two mediums and an extra heat sink. More firepower, betting cooling, longer endurance in the field... a good improvement, si?" She made a few thoughtful murmurs as she went through what was possible in her mind. "What do you think?"

[Theodore Beker]

He stroked his chin, "It could work. It is a bit of a Drac design flourish. I think it would be effective but it might take a bit of modification. "

[Felicity]

"Eehm, ok. Got a better idea?"

[Theodore Beker]

"You should be able to jump in firing the PPC until you are close enough to switch towards the lasers and the missiles. It'd be comparable heat with that of jumping while firing the ppc. You'd lose the base design's ability to fully unload and walk comfortably but you'd do more consistent damage and could cook yourself to blast someone to pieces," he grinned, "And unlike using a snubby you don't have to sacrifice your long range capability."

[Felicity]

"That's a good point."

Felicity made another thoughtful noise as she looked up, crossing her arms and really mulling it over. She was interrupted by the arrival of their milkshakes.

"Great, thank you!"

She leaned across the table to eagerly grab hers and move it to where she could sip from the straw.

[Theodore Beker]

Theo took his glass after giving the waiter a nod. "Mmmm," he murmured as he sipped, "We are off to a good start." He grinned as he continued tuck into the chocolate milkshake.

[Felicity]

The big float glasses were great. Very old fashioned yet forever a desired staple.

"This is good. How's your chocolate?" Felicity intones with a delighted purr.

[Theodore Beker]

"Half gone," he laughed, "But very good. How is your... what was it again?"

[Felicity]

"Banana." She'd ordered banana milkshake rather than chocolate.

"Want to try?" She nudged her glass toward him, straw first.

[Theodore Beker]

He leaned over for a sip while shifting his own glass for her. "Mmm, banana isn't bad. It is kind of nice. Does not beat chocolate though."
