Calm Before the Storm (Day 16 EE, diner, open)

[Theodore Beker]

"Seafood isn't always the best when traveling. Some worlds seem like the terraforming didn't take so well in the oceans or don't exactly have a lot in the way of the oceans you get on Earth-like planets," he shrugged, "A good amount of shellfish freeze well for transport... if you are willing to pay extraplanetary import prices."

[Felicity]

"No, gracias. This is exactly it. It's hard to find good seafood... I wonder if there is any on this planet? I saw some small crabs on the shore to the West."

[Theodore Beker]

"Questions for the locals. I am not going to be the one to try," he grinned, "The waiter saying chicken might be iffy does not leave me excited for trying the crab. As nice as it could be."

[Felicity]

"Maybe Colette could cook some for us, if we found some bigger ones." Felicity made a thoughtful murmur as she considered it.

Then her tummy rumbled.

[Theodore Beker]

"You find the local crab fisher and we'll talk about it," he grinned, "I am not into chasing after animals to eat them."

[Felicity]

"Who says you would need to chase them? Leave the fighting to the warriors, si? I'm a good shot and hunter I'll have you know. Only earlier today I tagged us a nice beefy bull for the barbecue I mentioned to you. Look forward to it." She smiles wickedly as she raised a hand, making a pistol, before mock shooting him with it and blowing the barrel of her fingertips.

[Theodore Beker]

"BBQ does sound nice. Where did you find a bull?"

He looked mildly confused, "Wait! You don't shoot crab!"

[Felicity]

"Not in a pen, so don't worry." She laughed with mischief.

"Tell that to Marik." She laughed a little more.

"Jokes aside, you catch crab. I know that much."

[Theodore Beker]

He laughed. "Well, most crabs."

"So they just have cattle roaming free on planet?" he asked more seriously, "No sign of ranchers or anything to imply it was free ranged?"

[Felicity]

"Bovine a long, long way from civilization. They seemed wild to me, but I'm no expert." Felicity shrugged.
