Long overdue R&R (D19 LE open)

[Colette Rupelle]

Colette nodded and whispered back. "She wants to celebrate." She giggled. "If none want to tell a story I'll do it zen.... Or we can play ze story game. Each one come up wiz what happens next."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun whispers, "I'd like to celebrate too -- with you -- but maybe not out here." Under the blanket he slides his hand along her upper leg and squeezes her knee. He takes a heavy breath. "I'll be good for now."

He raises his voice to be heard by the group. "Reckon we'd all like to hear a Colette story. Give me time to make up one that's good for all audiences," he says, smiling.

[Colette Rupelle]

Colette giggled. "Very well..." She cleared her throat as she moved a bit closer to Bruun. Her voice prepared to storytelling. "It was a dark and stormy night when zey have recently moved to ze house. Ze realtor had stated zat ze previous owners had practiced some weird ritual to summon ze ghost of zeir fallen daughter. Ze new owners just dismissed ze idea being skeptics after all." Colette shook her head. "Zey sat togezer in ze living room just watching a nice game of basketball. When suddenly ze lights went out."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea exhaled as suddenly she found a catgirl on top of her. She has a degree of self-control and keeps from laughing though, instead working her arms out to hug Fee. "After warmth then? If you get off me for a second you can see if we both fit under the blanket."

[Snorri Tycho]

"Room for one more?" Snorri asks. "I think we can cover everyone with an extra jacket"

[Felicity]

Felicity flopped down and purred as she was hugged. It was enough to get her assault to peter out. "Yea... we definitely can, it's pretty big." Felicity comments blissfully, doing as she is told and getting off so she can slip under the blanket to join Andrea.

At Snorri's comment she chuckled, glancing at Andrea and then back to Snorri. "I'm good right now. You'll have to try next time Snorri... or maybe Bruun and Letty will have you." She laughed a little more as she snuggled into Andrea. Pressing herself tight into the other mechwarrior she closed her eyes and purred. If anyone could see under the blanket they'd have noted that Felicity was now using Andrea as a giant hug pillow.

Settling down she started to listen to the story.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea blushed at the affection from Fee. Her eyes shifted to Snorri, "Feel free to take a seat next to us." She relaxes and waits for the story as well.

[Colette Rupelle]

She looked at orphaned Snorri and sighed. "Oso..." Colette shook her head of the idea. "You can also sit beside us... but no more tossing marshmallows. Maybe if you behave I'll make hot chocolat." The chef cleared her throat to follow her story. "Ze couple went down ze stairs to where ze fuse box was. When ze light hit ze floor zere was a circle wiz some weird runic letters. Ze man dropped his flashlight and ze woman tried to go down ze steps but she miscalculated and fell down. Her head had an ugly gash zat dripped blood onto ze circle. It started to glow."

[Felicity]

"You can always get another blanket Snorri." Felicity points out.

Soon after that she was quiet, listening to Colette's tale. She isn't particularly scared or anything however. She found the story more amusing than scary. At least, so far...

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun had quietly sighed in relief that Colette hadn't said anything else after his nickname.

He didn't want to impede her storytelling, so he kept his snuggling limited. However, with her sitting so close already, it was probably inevitable that his mind was not on the story. With great willpower, he brought himself back to reality every so often, taking deep breaths to keep from getting too excited.
